The Seventh Veil is a vision: a manifestation of human delight... In a sensual and spiritual way. Giving way to emotion to express itself freely. All emotion will be filtered through diverse layers of musical styles, starting with gothic rock and dark wave and going all the way through folk, ambient, electro wave, ethereal and neoclassical. Diverse instrumentation and worshipful melodies will be key ingredients to accomplish this vision. But... I'm missing a band to collaborate in this work. If you are reading this, living in the Netherlands, and eager to play music with others, then perhaps you would be interested in working with me. I live in Athens, Greece, for the time being, but I'm moving to Holland this Summer (until then we'll be only be able to communicate through email, msn etc.).
First and foremost, I need a singer. Female. I myself can sing a tune or two, but I lack the emotional and vocal range that only a female voice could accomplish. Then I will need a guitarist and perhaps a bassist, but if you also know to play other instruments (like violin, cello etc.) you'll be welcome to join. I don't think I'll need a drummer, but I would like to add some more... traditional percussion, so anyone who has experience in such instruments would be welcome as well. I myself can play the keyboards, piano, a little violin and viola, bodhran, mouth harp, and, as I said, I can sing.
My musical influences will be Faith & the Muse, Rhea's Obsession, Vangelis, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Miranda Sex Garden, Diary of Dreams, etc....
